This is the type of connection we love to make!

Over the last few weeks, we have been working on the connection for a new 450OD rising main in Bowen St, Wellington CBD on behalf of @wellingtonwater. The connection is approximately 6m deep from a new 2.55m diameter shaft into Wellington’s main intercepting sewer – a hand tunneled structure from the 1930’s.

Moir St Stormwater Culvert Emergency Repair

Urgent Response: On the night of Wednesday 23rd January a rain event caused an existing brick culvert to blow out under a property in Moir St. The culvert was a 640mm dia. brick structure pre-dating the property that was constructed in 1892. An amazing piece of engineering that is at the end of it’s life.

Wallace St Pipe Bursting

A great week here at GPFL as we completed our pipe bursting programme on Wallace St. 430m of online renewals completed by pipe bursting the existing 150 Cast Iron main with a new 180OD PE100 SDR11 pipe.
